Nothing to do with the Coyotes, but all I can say is about time. It was Philly’s time to start rebuilding 2+ years ago, and they have made nothing but questionable decisions for the longest time now.
I dont blame him for having a quiet deadline (despite what that fan base wanted, there was NO market for an old JVR making $7m a year who has has a horrendous season), but there are so many other black marks, such as the Ghost trade where we absolutely fleeced them and the hiring of Torts as their coach.
I told a friend last night, its almost like he would wake up every morning the last year or two, and flip a coin to decide if he was pro-rebuild or pro-compete that particular day. The decision making was reminiscent of someone with no direction, and no vision for the future of their club.
I find fanbases from Pennsylvania insufferable, so i love to see it, but it’s still crazy they waited so long to make this move.
