Any teams that have been bad for a while. Every team has good and bad fans, but there’s far less reasons to be agitated by “harmless” teams. Hence why you see a lot of CBJ/Arizona mentions. There’s a few exceptions to this for some more toxic fanbase, they know who they are

You know what? I’m gonna go with Seattle just because I haven’t seen them making a fool of themselves the way Vegas fans did when they first entered the league. I respect them because it seems like they’re willing to sit back and actually learn how the league works before they say things are rigged against them (which every other team will say) and demand an apology from Bettman (which since his unnecessary apology to Vegas 3 years ago there’s still 30 teams waiting for an apology). Maybe I’m just missing the toxic ones, or maybe their first trip to the playoffs will change it, but I think they’re starting in a good place

I’ve only been to 4 NHL arenas (Kings, Ducks, Sharks, Coyotes when they were playing at Gila), and it’s a toss between the Yotes and Sharks. Super welcoming, especially considering our rivalry with the Sharks.

Games I’ve been to live: nicest to meanest (am a sabres fan for bias checking)
1) Minnesota, legit bought me beers before the game out of sympathy just because I was wearing a sabres jersey during the dark times.
2) Toronto, chirping is always respectable and a family friendly atmosphere
3) Montreal, could very well have been rude but my French is bad and had a blast, overall good experience.
4) Ottawa, I dunno I’ve never been when it was actually busy, fans there were decent though.
4) buffalo, blue collar sports town, can be shitty sometimes
5) Boston, massholes but it’s like a brand for the state so it’s what you expect going in.
6) Tampa (I get my mom was wearing a leafs jersey but fuck you dude who threw a beer at us). Tampas fans match their players, scummy. That jackass, kucherov and Cernak have made me hate Tampa more than Boston and Toronto combined, and I used to love the St. Louis, Lecavilier team which wasn’t that love ago.

I’m a Wild fan living in Ontario so most games I see I’m in the oppositions Arena, and I gotta say that Red Wings fans have treated me better than anyone else. Made it very clear to them I was just there to cheer on my own team and not to attack their fan base and everyone was pretty great to me, inside and outside the arena. Good on ya Detroit.
