There are concerns that this might be his season. If that’s the case we have a high chance of taking first. Hate to see it happen like this.
I misplaced my violin but all the best to Andrei.
So basically a golden opportunity to not only pull away, but potentially be 1st and have more room to rest our guys to prevent injuries.
You never want to win this way but it happens.

Wow this is a huge loss for them. They have a tough stretch coming up with WPG-TOR-NYR-NYR-TOR-BOS as 6 of their next 7 games. Would be great time for NJ to ramp it up and take the division.
Damn that’s a tough break for them if it’s his season. Was looking forward to a possible exciting playoff round, still could be but yea that’s rough.
Between this injury and the Pacioretty injury, the Canes decision not to trade for someone like Timo, Borvat, or Boeser is looking even more puzzling. Obviously costs would be high but they were already struggling with finishing and it’s just getting worse
