Your right no playoffs
Chevy’s hands are tied to a degree. Free agents don’t want to sign in Winnipeg, players who have limited/full no trade clauses have the Jets on their no trade lists. Unless Chevy can get a player on limited term or actually find a player who’s willing to sign an extension he can’t trade prospects for rentals unfortunately. The Jets have to keep turning to their drafted players

The Jet's recent slide I feel forced the Front Office to hold on to their 1st round pick. Prepare to start a rebuild, though accelerated by the selling of assets this summer. See PLD and Hellebuyck to be sold for roughly 4-5 1st round picks plus more in value between the two

Well, a rebuild is on the horizon. PLD wants out. Scheif and Helle will be gone after their contracts. Wheeler is over. I've been waiting all year for this version of the Jets to come back, so I am not surprised or upset. All we have to look forward to is the summer and hoping Chevy gets off his ass and makes some hard deals that need to be done. Trade the assets with little to no term left and rebuild. Can't wait for that, and what next season brings. Boys are all buying new golf clubs tomorrow.

defense is definitely the problem. we can score. we get scored on often because our d collapses and they rely on bucky wayyyy too much. also, some players we couldn't get due to no trade clauses I'm sure and other reasons

I wouldn't rule out playoffs. Calgary is going nowhere and Nashville probably won't catch up. As an Oilers fan I would hate to face the Jets in the playoffs again.
I’m more excited for the Jets future because Chevy didn’t trade our prospects & 1st like he has in the past with bad results. The Jets more than any team in NHL have to build from within for obvious reasons every fan knows. Can you imagine if will still had Trouba in our lineup but that’s the reality Chevy is under to manage this team. Just imagine how much sweater it’ll be to win in Winnipeg.
