Binnington, on Thursday's hearing with NHL Player Safety: "It felt like I was in Good Will Hunting acting as Will trying to defend himself in trial. A new experience, for sure, and definitely not something I want to go through all the time."

He chose his words here, said “all the time” instead of “ever again”. I don’t believe people (r/hockey) think Binner will stop playing with fire. It’s who he is
I love Binner he does not give a fuck lmao
My boy’s wicked smaht
The r/hockey thread making up narratives themselves just so they can get made at them is hilarious.
He compared his situation with a scene in a movie in which Will beats someone up, has to defend himself in court, and loses. It’s not that deep.
I wore my new Binnington jersey today in solidarity
He’s trolling and it’s working lol go check out twitter and r/hockey
It’s worth noting that in the movie, at Will’s trial he is totally guilty, has been talking his way out of consequences for years, and finally getting busted has a direct positive impact on his future.
If Will Hunting is the guy’s role model I’m glad he’s finally reached this part in the story
I’m with Binnington. Fuck the hockey thread. I don’t think they’re delusional to have their opinion of him. The guy is crazy and nuts. But he’s our fucking guy. And maybe we’re delusional for it.
Stats are an easy target. But his stats really doesn’t show how good he really has been.
Why does anyone care about his antics anymore? We’re a shit team that just traded away half of our core. We probably will not make the playoffs again for 4-5 years.
I totally understand the hullabaloo that was raised last year in the playoffs. We nearly went toe-to-toe with Colorado, something no other team could, and those games were incredibly intense and meaningful. But now? Honestly, why do they care at all?
