Honestly it really doesn’t matter. Once hall and foligno return does anyone truly scare the B’s.
Bruins are going to beat themselves if this teams loses to any remaining team.
I THINK FLORIDA MIGHT SNEAK IN… THEY HAVE A GOOD TEAM. BOSTON WOULD HAVE FITS WITH THEM OVER THE PENS. BOSTON WOULD GET TESTED EARLY BUT STILL WOULD PULL THROUGH. 😁
Penguins first because of Jarry who is the weakest goalie of the three. Next Florida as they have a good offense and goalie but are extremely undisciplined and suck on the road. Islanders would be the hardest because of their goalie,defense and they’re just annoying to be honest. None really scare me though.
Not getting a lot of production from the top 6 (over the last few weeks), and almost nothing out of the PP. Pasta's kind of cold (for him). All that would be sustainable if the defense play was sound. But for a team with three "#1 Defenseman," they're giving up a lot of breakaways and odd-man rushes. Making careless blind passes that are turning into turnovers. Running around in their own end. Sloppy hockey. Period. We saw NONE of that before January. Sure, "any given day," and all that, but they have no business having their asses handed to them by Chicago or Detroit. They need to sharpen up before heading into the playoffs.
There is no "IDEAL" matchup for the Bruins. The Bruins matched up well against the Blues in 2019. But, their goalie got hot and one player, Rick Reilly, played way above his head. Sometimes, that is all that it takes to win a round in the playoffs.
