Sad to say, but I highly doubt it. He’s behind Matheson/Guhle/Xhekaj/Harris and then a whole bunch of LD prospects including Hutson and Engstrom. Maybe he’s on par with Struble, Trudeau, Nurmi and the rest. I see him as a trade throw-in at some point.

Could be trade chip?

Its kind of like when in Calgary kulak, if he is good enough he gets moved for 5th or so to a team with little D depth. Or he returns to Europe.
zzzzoooo
Norlinder should be a good lesson to most of us who usually over-estimte our prospects.

I don’t think he’s going to turn into anything more than a depth defender. Defenseman can take longer to develop, so hopefully I’m wrong, but he seems to be having difficulty with the North American game and has fallen way down our depth chart.

Off to the prospect graveyard, rip Norrislinder

To have see him play quite a few time with the Rocket. I doubt it.

Move over Norlinder, we have Hutson now.

Norlinder is doing ok and progressing well. We have so many interesting young LD at this moment who bring different elements to the table. I take it as blessing and things will sort out as to the makeup of the Habs blueline.

If he can figure his shit out, he’ll be a trade throw-in. At this point, it looks like his ceiling is an Erik Gustafson-style player. We don’t really need that right now.
