I do like Joey so I’m happy for him, I do think at this point he will most likely outplay Jones so I’m okay with him spelling Gru. We’ll see
I don’t think we have any reason to worry about Gru too much. CV is playing the Texas Stars in Texas this week while we’re in Dallas. They’ve already clinched a playoff spot so why not bring up Joey while the teams aren’t geographically far apart? Gives Joey some more ice time and Gru some more recovery time.
