I have gotten multiple free items(including a pageau jersey) because the items never arrive(after a month). I then complain and the replacement and original end up showing up in two days.
TLDR; Fanatics fucks up the entire run of NYCFC championship jerseys. Says fuck it and issues everyone refunds and refuses to make more. I am one of very few people with a non-messed up one, I kind of expect it to be a collectors item.

I know outsiders probably think us jersey collectors are speaking Martian or whatever but this is an embarrassing move for the NHL. It’s not Nike, or Reebok, or CCM. It’s fucking Fanatics.

Fanatics are ok as a lower end producer. If you want to show you’re a fan but can’t afford or don’t want to pay the high prices of authentic products, it’s good for that.

My reccomendation is stock up on Islanders Addidas as they go on clearance. There is not much difference between adizero/climalite/and prime green.

Fanatics will probably take over the factory in Indonesia that makes the adidas authentic replicas. This will not be be the same cheaper jersey they make now. They are not allowed to make the authentic replicas yet.
Fanatics has a lot of money and will be trying to prove to other major sports that they can keep up the quality.

Idk how to feel about this. They have always been known for making the more affordable licensed replica jerseys. I much rather have seen them go with a more trusted brand like nike, or ccm. I grew up at a time where ccm was the main jersey manufacturer, and those jerseys were so good. Hell the ahl jerseys are manufactured by ccm currently. I would of been okay with nike as well. They have a history of making game worn jerseys for various sports, and at one point made hockey equipment. Fanatics just doesn’t seem right to me
