Karlsson is the favourite. Look at what he’s done with a team like the Sharks. Could be the first Dman to reach 100 points since 1992.
IMHO Hedman or Makar should have won the Norris in 2020-21. Hell, even Tyson Barrie had more points that Fox in that shortened season, and Fox wasn't very impressive in the defensive zone either.

If you say McDavid couldn’t win the hart the year he led the NHL in points but the Oilers missed the playoffs… I don’t see how Karlsson should be able to win the Norris being a minus player on the worst team in the league 🤷♂️…
But honestly. I do think Karlsson should win it… Just like McDavid should have won it the year the oilers missed the playoffs. Individual awards should be based on skill, not on team performance.

Apparently these guys have bets on Makar. 26 points behind Karlsson with nearly half on the PP. Karlsson only second to McDavid in ESP. Makar probably won't be a finalist, let alone win it. If he does, the award is clearly a popularity contest.
