    These are getting dumb.

Not my area of expertise but isn’t ‘Pride Night’ supposed to be about supporting and demonstrating that hockey is for everyone? Seems as if we are shining the spotlight elsewhere by giving someone else’s personal opinions all the airtime

So thankful we already had our pride night so I don’t have to have my heart broken again any time soon.

    It’s just all so disappointing.

“WHO DOESNT WEAR THE RIBBON??!!l. People so obsessed with whether someone wants to wear a jersey that aligns with their beliefs. 🤡🌎

If Pride Night were truly about « Hockey is for Everyone », then it would be about tolerance. Tolerance for fans choosing to wear whatever themed jersey they wished to a game without fear of retribution from others. Tolerance for players to support socio-political causes they believe in off the ice. Yet, Pride Night is not about tolerance, it is about compulsory acceptance and promotion. Players and fans are mandated to accept the beliefs and actions that the themed jersey represents, and then promote those beliefs in a public setting. Compulsory acceptance and promotion are not tolerance, do not promote inclusion, and should not be part of any sporting event.
