LOL – look up Brian Propp – and he was a very good NHL player, don't get me wrong. But… he had 102 goals in his draft year (Brandon Wheat Kings),played with Bil Derlago, Laurie Boschman, Ray Allison (who later joined him in philly) and the late Brad McCrimmon on defense. Just saying…. NHL is a massive step up from Junior.

I know it’s sad he will probably go to Columbus with a small market and a team like Montreal or his home town Vancouver would be cool but this is how teams get better. They draft a star player who can turn a team around and they build around him. It might not be the cool way but it’s the fair way and the reason why no team will always be dead last.
