Is it bad I forgot he was on the team?
I think people are way too negative about Blackwood. When he’s healthy* he’s a solid NHL goalie. I’m glad we have at least 3 good goalies this year so that we haven’t been stuck dressing Gillies and Hammond.

I’m okay if Blackwood plays so we can rest Vanacek & Schmid for the playoffs. I’d prefer we don’t play him when it counts. I’m glad he’s not trying to play through injuries but I also wouldn’t trust that he’s fully healed come round 1.
Glad this team is right on the verge of clinching playoffs at this point so they can rotate guys into the lineup for the last few weeks. It’ll be good to have Blackwood get back to 100% and have some NHL level reps ahead of the postseason. Definitely won’t mind having 3 goalies available should anything major happen that necessitates going that far into the goalie depth chart.
We need to get him some time before the playoffs (if full health), last thing we need is any injuries and for him to have to come in cold turkey in a series
