   As they should. He has been worse than a majority of our 4th liners. He should be rested for a week or moved down a line.

   He’s definitely not the same. Completely lost his confidence and he’s not right. Not sure if the AHL is an option but he needs to be scratched for a few games at a minimum.

   I really do think he’s been showing more confidence each game over the last couple weeks. In Dallas he was all over the ice making good passes and awesome defense. He’s definitely still tentative about getting on the boards where he’s more likely to take a big hit though.

   Doesn’t surprise me he is « slumping » some. Much longer season, much bigger opponents, playing against the other teams’ top line usually. The other teams have taken a physical approach to Matty which is taking its toll on him. He will be fine, has looked better the past week. He’s our Calder guy!! GO KRAKEN!!
