Sooooo tired of refs interfering with every single game. Not just this one but every game in the league. Breaking up fights, makeup calls, just bullshit. Games with a playoff atmosphere are going to have chirping. No reason for Maroon to get called for unsportsmanlike in the 1st.
better GA than we’re used to seeing but they really needed to score on that 5v3. that’s where they lost
it was still good to see PK go 6/7 vs boston tho
Take the string of losses out of the equation, that was a great game.
Considering the first 10 minutes I thought we played pretty well. Fatigue definitely showed as the game went on. Still need to clean up the turnovers

Between a late start to my day and things I had to do, I didn’t get a chance to watch. I assume since we didn’t get destroyed (and kept it close all game) we were somewhat competent again?
honestly, not a lot of complaints about this game. i thought we played pretty well overall, minus a couple of defensive hiccups.
finally time to get that extra day’s rest after a month of games every other day. again fuck the league for this scheduling.
First game in a while it didn’t feel like we lost so much as the other team won. A couple of bounces change and a lot of people would feel a lot differently about this game. I just wish it wasn’t Boston.
We lost but the fact we kept the Bruins to only 2 says alot. Carolina next 😬 Hopefully some rest helps them.
Compared to last game , I’m not mad about this. Refs as always, suck. I didn’t get chance to watch but how the fuck did maroon get a penalty from the bench???? He bodied Hathaway though
Idk if I should be pleased with a L from a solid game or be livid that we always play down/up to our opponents and it costs us easier wins.
Chris Rooney is a Boston homer and should be fired, then again so should 90% of the officials the NHL shits out onto the ice every game.
Boston didn’t deserve to win this game.
The failed 5-on-3 was bad but that doesn’t mean we « didn’t deserve » the game, the officials had more direct impact on it than that.
The officiating literally couldn’t have been more one-sided, both of Boston’s goals were lucky bounces, and the Lightning hit the post and generated several golden opportunities that just wouldn’t work. The Lightning tying the Bruins on 7 PPs, maybe like three of which were not such a big joke that it discredits the game of hockey, is ridiculous. Not scoring on a 5-on-3 sucks and we obviously misplayed that one shift but that happens and no game is perfect; Boston squandered their opportunities too, but the referees just kept handing them more and more. This losing streak needs to end (but it will, as annoying as it is to wait for it). Moral victories aren’t what we need right now. But this is one of them anyway—we *completely* deserved this game and absolutely played well enough to compete with the Leafs in the playoffs.
Boys played hard except on the PP. Hats off to the PK they spent almost an entire period shorthanded and we still only lost by 1.
We’ve had some downplay from Heddy, Vasy, Elliott, Stammer, and our defense has been downright awful at times, and we’re still 3rd in the hardest division in the league.
That’s after losing so much talent, most teams would be in the lottery afterwards.
This season hasn’t been at our normal standards but hopefully we’ll play better towards the playoffs and our puck luck changes too.
Only matters if you win the last game of the season, I guess
“Minor penalty, Hockeying in a white sweater” Was looking for a sign that we aren’t completely dead and got it. If the PP can get over shootaphobia, we can still do stuffz.
Can’t really bitch about this one it was a good game, we just got to get it in the back of the net at the end of the day.
Let’s get a couple of wins to at least wrap up the season though yeah? Not asking they go full 100% mode or anything but just to keep everyone aware that yeah they can still play a full 60 minutes just fine. (Even if I think the Devils games earlier this month were a good demonstration of that, its clear the Bolts atm are just coasting until playoffs)
solid game. thought we played the neutral zone well. just one defensive gaffe and that was it. at least they looked like they wanted it, which has not felt like the case as of late.
Fuck Boston. That’s all I have after this game.
