Ready for that first round sweep that undoes all of this excitement.
I don't like Hienen on the third line and DOC saddled to carter on the fourth. DOC has been/is our best performing bottom six player. Now he has to prop up carter (which he has), but that kills his time on ice and his deployment. He should be on the third line and some one like Hallander can come up and play defensive hockey and block shots. Put your best playing players in rolls to make them successful.
The penguins at this point may not make the playoffs. Casey desmith sucks, with him on the team, they loose. He blows leads, plays scared, is inconsistent. Tristan jarry is mediocre at best. Ron hextall needs to be fired. Period.
They seem to look to continue to score after lead instead of locking it down like the Devils used to do.
"If", they make the playoffs, they are a contender, not saying they "will" win another cup, but Sid and Geno, can go all Sid and Geno, let a goalie catch fire… who knows. That's why I watch Hockey, nothing is given in the playoffs, it is all earned.
I hope Sid continues to climb up the all-time playoff scoring list.

They have all the pieces to be a contender. Just have to keep this putting it together thing going.
I’m pretty sure Sullys first few years with the pens… they were some stupid record like 100-0-2 and something when leading after 2 periods.
Jarry is the biggest injury plagued player in the leagued. True they played well the last 3 games but blowing a 3 goal lead in 1 period and almost loosing that game if it wasn't for geno. If they play well we all agree they should make play-offs no worries. Once again the goaltending is the biggest problem that needed to be addressed be4 the trade deadline but wasn't. Could of got jquick for a 7th!!!
