For the record, I am just posting because I found it interesting.

I think a lot of his ranks are higher because he’s put on an already good devils team with multiple players who are very good. Should he be put on a line that’s more heavily reliant on him. I don’t think line numbers matter as much but like what if he was on a like with Haula and Tatar/Bo/etc.

Feel free to educate me if my take is dumb haha

It’s interesting that he’s getting more chances, but the two sample sizes are not comparable. It’s also a new team and he went like 4 games without a practice while also coming off an injury.

Shouldn’t put too much stock in this, too soon to make any judgements.

I didn’t wanna get downvotes but man the devils post the trade have not passed the eye ball test at all

Im not concerned. hes looked better the longer hes been here. Hes still had under 5 practices i believe so thats not ideal. It usually takes time for post trade deadline teams to come together. We still have time.

However i am a lil puzzled by the team using him on his off wing, not utilizing him as a triggerman on the powerplay, and constantly moving him around. He needs to be in the top 6. He is too valuable to throw on the third line and hope he can carry them every night. Staple him to Nico and let them play. Hopefully he comes around before the playoffs. I still love the trade for us.

Interesting, but small sample size so not really a concern to me.

This chart sucks ass for one simple reason: ignoring sample size.

This is classic bad statistics: garbage in, garbage out.

This is 100% on Lindy Ruff. He is playing a great RW shooter on the left wing and at the net front on the powerplay.

So his scoring chances per game are up. But goals per game is down. Yep, he’s a Devil now.
