Happy to take the L here. Perfect ending with another RHP goal and a great tank game.
Hot take: Gally isn’t done yet. Three goal streak and he looks like he has energy. I could see him having a little resurgence and being a solid second or third line option.
Farrell was quiet but solid. Primeau did well. Ylonen is another bright spot for me – really see him as a great third liner going forward.
So weird that I actually cheered when Philly scored

Epinard goal, Primeau did not look horrible but he did look nervous, gally goal, good game for the tank.

Hoffman had 13 goals in 60 games.
Both are tied for 5th most goals on the team.
What a bad game to watch.
Oh well, that was an important L to get.
As for Farrell, we’ll see more in future games, especially with a rested group and a practice under him. I will say that he’ll probably need a bit of time. He doesn’t have Caufield’s foot speed and ellusiveness, so he got bodied a few times tonight, enough that it mattered in loosing pucks.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see him start in the AHL next year.

Gally looks good, rhp is a dog, primeau looked a bit spooked at times but good day for him.
A very acceptable loss all around.
Boring game, but we got the vital result (at the last minute) and Gallagher’s little resurgence has been encouraging.
And it looks like Nashville will beat Boston, which is helpful in potentially keeping Florida’s pick lower than 16OA if they don’t make the playoffs.
