For context, I’m a Stars fan and this isn’t necessarily snark; I was on the boat that we needed a needed a new voice for our locker room and that Bones could’ve been a good fit for y’all

That being said, this is something us Stars fans are familiar with and have seen this before lol this is just a skid I’m guessing, but how has Bones been throughout the season for y’all?

I know there was a lot of optimism after you guys came storming out the gate at the start of the season and that this looked like a different Bones system than he did with the Stars, but now I’m starting to see some of the same things he did that drove us insane with you guys now

  2. I’d like to believe Ehlers isn’t 100% from his sports hernia yet

Bowness has been brutal this far, outside of the early success which seems to be a fluke. The team looks exactly like when Paul Maurice quit last year. Only took like 6 months for him to lose the room. That being said, the room didn’t have much interest in him in the first place.

I’m sorry you guys have to deal with Bones. The game passed him long ago…I too thought based on your early success maybe his dinosaur ideas on hockey wouldn’t permeate through a really good top 6. But alas, he’s now benching said top 6.

Pete Deboer has his issues (like healthy scratching our big summer trade acquisition Nils Lundqvist), but I gauranteed Mr Ehlers would be playing 18 mins a night over here. And amazingly with basically the same top 6 and a 19 yr old rookie, were top 10 in scoring after being bottom 5 last year with Bones.

For y’all’s sake I hope they can hang on to the wild card spot as I understand that heart break, but if not, the silver lining might be getting a competent modern day coach.

The only good that can come with all this is maybe some stuff actually starts to get properly blown up after so many seasons of disappointment. And my god, please don’t let us wait for Chevy or Bones to step down themselves.
