So we get more chances, we just can’t score or get saves. Pretty much the same thing that happened in December.
It really is funny the way our struggles in march perfectly mirrored the struggles in December. It makes it less concerning, the team is still pushing and playing decently ( save for last night), just finishing and saves don’t go our way for a few weeks. The timing works out, now they can get back to normal for the playoffs
2nd in xGF% is obviously very good if it plays out that way
4th in xGF vs 22nd in actual goals for. Is that just unlucky or less than average shooting?
This jives with what I’m seeing. The Devils are being beat rather than losing games. Also, I’m going to give the boys a pass for the lackluster results. It’s incredibly difficult mentally to keep the foot on the gas pedal when you don’t have to.
