No waist stripe and less stripes on the sleeves makes it look like a practice jersey. Sorry that's just a very 'meh' design, it makes the Lightning / Red Wing jerseys look exciting!!
I wonder if Adidas had produced these jerseys years ago as a throwback that went unused. They probably just want to sell them while they still have time
Supposedly fanatics told teams no changes for a few years after they take over.
I know why the flyers went to that design because it was the design they wore when they won their back to back cups in 74 and 75 but those ones weren't that crazy bright orange
