Bunting is going to be a problem in the playoffs….and it is the refs that are the actual problem not him. He has a massive target on his back and is like an automatic made up penalty a game.
I think he’s gotta keep doing exactly what he’s doing except don’t say a fucking peep to the refs. “Yes sir” and “no sir” only.
Its absurd, like what is he even supposed to do anymore because if he actually defends himself we’ll get penalized and if he doesn’t react it only adds to the frustration because those clowns don’t do their jobs by preventing this bullshit.

The refs are punishing reputation, not actual infractions. There’s nothing Bunting can really do at this point. It’s way too easy for other teams to react to his pesty behaviour with no consequences for them. Utter bullshit.

I don’t even know why I watch this sport anymore.
I mean, we saw the corruption from Colin Campbell. We saw it with the Tim Peel incident. We saw the blatant game fixing in game 6 and 7 last year. We watch this every single night when Bunting is on the ice. This isn’t incompetence. This isn’t the game being too fast for the officials. This isn’t the officials being bad at their job. This is absolutely calculated and intentional.
The NHL is a corrupt league.
I’ve invested my time into this season so I’ll finish it out, but I am certain the officials will do everything in their power to give this series to Tampa, and when they do, I’m officially done watching hockey. Not even kidding.

These aren’t refs, these are game managers and are the third team on the ice. Bunting was literally fucking just standing there and gets cross checked and attacked, but he was the problem. Hedge your bets now folks the refs aren’t going to let the series finish in game 5 or 6, they’re going to force a game 7 with how pissy bitches they are.
I always had respect for MLB umpire Jim Joyce. Years ago he messed up a call at first base with two outs in the ninth-inning when a rookie pitcher had a perfect game going. Called the runner safe when he was clearly out. Joyce later sat down at a press conference to explain the situation and took questions. He readily admitted that he blew the call. Can’t imagine an NHL referee ever, ever doing that.

Referees out there acting like US Cops with minorities towards some players, and the NHL brass is just OK with it.

It’s like the NHL doesn’t even try to hide the blatant bias towards him. That dive penalty they called on him earlier was a joke… he legit got crosschecked in the back twice and fell the 2nd time. And then, a 10 min misconduct for skating away from a scrum? Refs are a joke, and if this continues into the playoffs we are going to have a problem.
Since last night I’ve had a worried feeling in the pit of my stomach.
We are going to get reffed out of the playoffs again. It’ll be phantom calls against with calls for ignored. I am beginning to believe this now.
Of course against one of the dirtiest teams in the league (kuch, Perry).
If we somehow make it past Tampa and the refs, the nhl’s golden boys (Bruins) will receive even more biased officiating.
