  1. When this happened I was 4.. I'm now a 22-year-old fully grown man 😐😐

  2. Those Pat Quinn teams had so much character, heart, grit and excellent goaltending.

  3. Jesus. I didn’t realize until recently. I feel spoiled as a Canuck fan.

This victory was 37 years into the drought which is 2/3 of the current drought. Imagine if someone had told you then that not only will this drought continue at least 50% longer but also that Toronto will not win a playoff round.

That 18 years is longer than the 17 years between Finals appearances for the Canucks.

  4. Marchment and Domi's kids are both in the playoffs 18 years later. Seeing those names on both sweaters is a walk down memory lane for an 05 grad, and I'm a Canuck fan lol

  5. Back when the leafs tried to take advantage of no salary cap and tried to buy the cup. Haven't won a series since the cap came in, go figure 🤔

  6. Toronto were always great pylons, always in the way of greater teams all those years. Now they're paying the price, literally. Go leafs go

  7. That building had so much more energy with Andy Frost as the PA announcer

  8. Toronto needs to do what Colorado is doing right now.
Become a powerhouse team that doesn't lose often. Then go into the playoffs and absolutely steamroll everyone.
Why everytime we get into the playoffs, we get this dramatic drawn out 7 game series and always end up losing?

  9. Leafs didnt try to make themselves a playoff team. they just stacked as much talent as they could, and 95% offensive no d no goalie. they never learned how to use different tools like 4th liners, enforcers, role guys , and employ all to counter anything the other team does. Instead, they are 1 dimensional and futile. They need to rebuild and ship A Matthews to Arizona where he belongs.

  10. Oh man if todays Leafs had Tucker, Domi, McCabe and Belfour, they'd make it to the second round for sure. 😄

  11. BRING BACK THIS TEAM
THIS IS ONLY TEAM THAT MADE A PLAYOFFS SERIES.
    BRING BACK THIS TEAM. NOW.
THERES NO HOPE OF EVER PASSING THE FIRST ROUND WITH THE CURRENT TEAM.
