Can't be unhappy with the play, just the result. The phantom hold called on Sammie with 2:31 remaining didn't help… I was proud how the boys responded to that call… Aggressive enough that the Cats had to trip us twice to slow the boys down… That showed me a lot about this teams potential…. Fla knows they got away with one… I think I'm going to like Levi…
I looked at this game two-fold.. 1. Yeah, we lost.. that hurts.. but it wasn't for lack of effort.. theyhappen.. 2. Levi looked really good and kept us in the game the whole way.. 2 goals or less should win the game.. but sadly a great goalie can't also score (well, once in a lifetime.. ).. He needed a little help from the forwards and they just couldn't solve the other teams goalie.. 3. Replay should be banned… Still, Levi is showing that he can be that guy we've been thinking he could be all along. He's the real deal… Something tells me, We may have to move a goalie in the offseason.. UPL or Comrie.. Levi is looking like if there is a competition in Sept.. He's going to win hands down. If they can sent UPL down, they may do that simply because.. Comrie will get hurt at some point.. but if they can't, someone has to move..

Middlestadt had numerous scoring chances. Lacks finesse lacks confidence lacks scoring touch talent. Can't buy beg borrow lease barter a goal. He's overhyped undertalented scrub
I'm not gonna lie, it is hard to follow this team. When they get stellar goaltending, they completly come flat from offensive side of the game. What is going on with Tage, where is offense apart from Cozens lately, I don't get it…this constant losing at important points thorugh seasons and seasons, every year is just hard to follow these losers. It is always something coming flat, short or just incompetent. Mentality needs to change, hope they sort it out next season, or that's it from me following them or emotionally investing.

Greenway is useless, I never see him hit anyone or push anyone, Krebs is a more gritty guy and he’s only 5’11” 170lbs. We got scammed so bad in the trade. They credit Greenway with 2 hits a game but I’ve never actually seen him hit anyone or play tough. Him getting more icetime than Peterka after 40 minutes is pure nonsense! This coach knows how to really mess with a rookies head, 5 shots last game and a goal, dangerous every time on the ice then he plays 5 minutes in first 40. This isn’t little league baseball where all bums get a chance, play the skill guys the most minutes! Dahlin can play a full PP no need to put in Power who refuses to ever actually shoot the puck. Happy to see Levi play well, of course he won’t play much because little league rules, all the bad players now need a turn in net. Play him every game, who cares about hurting the little feelings of a guy with 4.00GAA
Levi was the only one shining last night, and defensively we were okay. Our teams lack of goal scoring and ability to finish was made clear in the shootout vs MTL the other night. We can score by making quick tick tack passes and spreading the goalie very thin, but it seems like most players can't score a goal on their own when facing good goaltending.
I can't remember which player it was, but it was a blind behind the back pass behind our own net right to a florida player that gave them the go ahead goal. You just can't make careless plays like that especially behind your own net and in a game this important. It pains me to watch our team give up goals due to thoughtless plays like that where taking even one more moment to think about the risk vs reward could mean the difference between a W or L. The penalty on Samuelsson was another example. Have faith in your goalie, sometimes it's better to take the penalty but not with 2:31 left in regulation. I just feel that a lot of our players panic easily and make desperate attempts to get the puck out of our zone and end up giving away scoring chances instead of taking their time and doing something sensible.
I don't usually come down on them like this, but I think we need a boost in our hockey IQ, and maybe that's a consequence of having the youngest team in the league. But that's what separates the McDavid's from the rest of the world, intelligence on top of talent, skill and hard work. McDavid knows where everyone is and where they are going to be most of the time on BOTH teams.
Florida played a very hard game, they knew what was at stake, and I cant stand Brady T. so it made this a little more painful than it needed to be.
I’m not sure if the coach knows this…the kid line Cozens, Quinn and JJ is a great line, none are hurt and are in great shape, they can play more than Geeenway and Okposo. They have been the best geek stat line in league. Can’t score sitting on the bench.
Wayne , it looks like we have the goalie of the future . Well played game , unfortunately Tage wasn’t himself in this game , and some missed great chances . Overall a real enjoyable season . Not given up yet but it’s going to be tough .
Its time to move Mittlestadt and Olofsson before they have no trade value. Get a good stay at home Defenseman that actually brings physicality.

Honestly it was a hard fought game. Honestly proud of the fellas for pushing hard this season. If Thompson and Dahlin were not injured we would have taken this game. I'm so glad we have Devon Levi. Roam and myself for so long were stating how good this guy is gonna be and boy he has exceeded every expectation. He is transitioning to not only a starter but potential franchise changing. I'll be at the game Thursday vs Detroit. Only one Sabres lost in eight games of me going live to see the Sabres. I'm hoping I keep the good jinx going. We as fans should be proud of these young guys for growing this much. Let's hope we still squeek in the playoffs otherwise let's shoot for next year. Keep the support going for this team, because we have something special building!
Good hard fought game. They gave it theyre all. IMO Levi will be Buffalos starting goalie next season. Olofsson will be moved in the off season too .

This game showed us our deficiencies as well as our strengths. Adams needs to surround Levi with D that is not like jokiharu but mean s.o.b.’s like Samuelson. Up front Okposo is a nice guy but too slow. Mittsy is a liability where the kid line is exciting. Waynsey, the future looks bright with Levi now Adams has to pick up the phone in the off season.

Sabres have found a goalie in Levi…everyone should be excited for next year…so much for spending a year in AHL…he is 2 for 2 in games with less than 3 goals allowed….as comp UPL is 7 out of 33 games with less than 3 goals.
Though this loss is unlucky and ill timed it's only really the opposite of the islander win where they stunk and won. Florida have it all to play for. If Buffalo had played defence like this earlier in the year and gotten goaltending as good as this it might be a different story. Levi has made me happy for next season already. Now if they can just win a damn home game we're good and I will forgive them this season for tantalising us! Whatever the ending 😋

Florida came out physical I'm stoked on Levi. This kinda bums me bc I already was letting the season go before break then getting hopes up a little and I know better lol. Going back to this passing thing instead of crashing net had me early on this probably wasn't going to end well. Good game same problems lol.
Careless play by Thompson led to that 2nd goal scored by Florida. For some reason he makes a blind drop pass to nobody right by the side of the net that was literally to a Florida player. Cannot for the life of me figure out why this team makes those types of plays, but it really cost them last night. Just get the puck out of the zone and quit screwing around.
Buffalo dumped the puck pretty much all of the 2nd. They get possession then dump it back to Florida. Welcome back Thompson, the only time I recall him missing the puck on a one timer. Skinner must be great at faceoffs as I didnt think they would get him to do it the last 12secs and he won..twice. Levi still played really well. Thats two games against good teams he only allowed 2 goals. UPL rarely allows less than 3.
