It’s fine. I’m only going to watch the hurricanes game

  2. XxDRebelxX

Best day in sports history ever!
You get a game, you get a game, you get a game, everyone gets a game!

  3. HuellsBigBrother

It’s stupid. Why not have a game to watch last night?

Or, given the NHL’s new binky, why not have a couple of games to bet on?

  4. AutumWind0

The Hockey Guy is gonna have a rough day recapping all these games.

  5. pinkwhitney24

Time to hit that 16-game parlay.

  6. pinkwhitney24

Was there ever a 15-game day? I mean, we have 32 teams now, but was there a 15-game day before?

And who was left out? Probably the Leafs.

  7. ryuzakji

Not a fan. all my fantasy guys have games tonight and with my luck the ones I bench get the points

  8. cowboy_code

That’s a stupid stat. It would have only been possible last year and this year. So that stat is really first time in 2 years.

  9. computalgleech

I pretty much only watch Preds games, so it makes no difference to me.

  10. Maleficent-Comfort-2

I’m gonna be watching a lot of replays tommorow

  11. nicktheking92

YES LETS FUCKING GO I LOVE IT

  12. Putthebunnyback

I mean with the ESPN contract, we’ll be able to see, what, three of those?

  13. TomatilloAwkward8673

Nah, I want to watch games every day, I dunno what to with days like yesterday

  14. KroganTiger

It’s crazy, but I like it. They could even market it as an all out, hockey marathon day. Pretty cool imo

  15. This_Cable_5849

    It is fantastic.

I never understood why the NBA/ NHL don’t have games starting at noon every Saturday and Sunday.

There is also nothing better than going to a 1 o clock sports game. Can get properly beat up if you want and still be home by dinner.

  16. JustSixTrees

I like the idea of it but having no games yesterday is not great (I know it’s a Jesus day, but still) and a good portion of the games will be blacked out today so…

  17. Ordinary-Cucumber-25

That incredible playoff preview between the Duck’s and Yotes!

Pure talent and coaching on display!

  18. Fatboiii_69

I really only watch my team anyway so it doesn’t bother me. I only watch recaps of other games.

  19. Colavs9601

exciting for fans but I feel like they’ll have spacing issues with all 32 teams on the ice at the same time

  20. enemycap420

Wait so every team plays today?

  21. I like it, but I would use it sparingly abd in conjunction with back to back to ensure every day has games. Like first day of the regular season, last day of the regular season, last day befor ASG break and maybe last day before Christmas break could be 16 games days, with a couple teams using one of their back to back slots to ensure games the previous day (or the day after, in case of the first day of the season).

  22. Tireseas

I have no strong feelings either way.

  23. Barilko-Landing

16 games and half of them regionally blacked out probably lmao

  24. It’s fine, but today is so random. Maybe on day 1 of the season, or New Years day I would appreciate it more.

  25. BoarHorvat

Well, I had to make some really difficult decisions as to who’s going to be sitting on the bench tonight in my fantasy league.

But it’s only the final week, and tonight will really determine who’s going to win it all, so im not even stressed about my choices… like at all…

  26. zhaozhenghaozhonguo

I love it. They should do it more. MLB does 15 game days like once a week.

  27. LouieSportsman

What normal person would dislike this?

  28. benificialart

There should be something like NFL redzone but in NHL

  29. empireincident

I don’t care but the time schedule makes no sense. Why are the majority of west coast teams playing early and the east coast teams playing so late?

  30. JEMHADLEY16

I like it. I grew up with NFL games, got into hockey later. All 8 NFL games were on Sunday afternoons, between 1 – 4 pm EST. Sunday was football day. I sometimes wish the NHL played all weekend and took the rest of the week off. There’d be less games, but by Saturday you’d be totally Jonesing for it…

  31. touringwizard

I think they finally figured out how to space games out through out the day. Which is cool

  32. geekob_11

It’s awesome but should be like once a year lol. For THG’s sake

  33. fragmuffin91

No point besides saying – look, this is happening. Completely pointless shit.

  34. ColonelDriver

Today ESPN be like: next up – 8 hrs of the WNBA Draft!

  35. H2cupid4H

How I know as a coyotes fan I want be seeing them on cable tv.

  36. palpytus

I like it bc there’s so much hockey to watch but the games could be staggered more so I could actually watch more games. something like starting a new game every 30 minutes from 2pm until 10pm (eastern time). I love being able to switch from game to game during intermissions
