The refs totally ignored God Knows how many "Too Many Men" calls. They avoided calling PP's for the Oilers like the plague. Connor breaks 150 points. Demers plays his 700th NHL game (and played over 10 minutes it wasn't a token play for 15 seconds or anything though his turnover got SJ their one goal (ruining another Skinner Shutout)). Derek Ryan with Depth scoring on a Shortie. Oilers have 17 shorties (#1 in the league I think). Look, this was a no-mercy win. Bouchard with 2 secondary assists (and nearly a goal or two). Honestly the better he does the more his contract costs us and I'm just fine with that (lol). Broberg getting his first goal of the season and 2nd NHL goal was nice too. This was a big lines game. Nurse played just over 20 minutes and he played the most. Kulak who is our 3rd line LD played the 2nd most minutes at 19:33. That says a LOT. Vegas LOST to Dallas in a Shootout (so they got a Bettman point which sucks). Now we just need LA to loose. Great job guys. Take care all.
They can win the Cup this year… they need good goaltending, stay injury free (basically), play like they have been. Who can beat them? Colorado maybe, Boston?
Ekholm was SUPER Underrated in Nashville… even their own fans didn't know, because they loved the trade at first… but now they yearn to get him back on comments in social media… lol
I love how we're all smiling a little bit now that we have a D core that seems to have something great to offer! Personally I would just as soon have J Demers as C Ceci!
Oiler Defense was horribly neglected and mismanaged imo from 2007 till about 2018-19. It's been dramatically upgraded under Holland, so better way way late then never at all. Now a true contender and a truly exciting team.
It’s a long road to the playoffs, it’s looking good for the team to do a deep run, but you know upsets happen all the time in playoffs. So let’s stay level headed until we actually reach cup final, then you can go complete bonkers
i like mccurdy, but he's too nice as "the host"; staples' unctuousness plays better to us listeners. i might listen but won't watch another podcast having to stare up leavin's nose

I'm not planning the parade or anything… but WOW! (ps: Wayne Gretzky Drive would be nice!)

Can 97 average 2 goals per game over the these last 3? I would like to think so.
Always good stuff.
Thanks guys
Nice treat to hear from Kurt
Are we finally over Larson?..lol I think so!
This oilers team is insane, i dont see how they don’t win the cup.
Ekholm was SUPER Underrated in Nashville… even their own fans didn't know, because they loved the trade at first… but now they yearn to get him back on comments in social media… lol
This team is a Well Oiled Machine right now… firing on ALL Cylinders.
Looks like another gutsy coaching move coming up, when they'll start Soup against the Avalanche to give him a meaningful higher pressure game.

Ekholm for mayor . ☝️
Fun possibility…..Crosbys favorite player is Yzerman. McDavids was Crosby. Yzerman 155 points, McDavid 4 points away.
Ekholm took a class with Drai regarding spinning backhand passes😂😂
Derek has something between his ears…very high hockey IQ❤❤
G🥅 🥅i🏒ers G🥅!!!

ekholm is worth an entire brokendown (en panne) bus of swedish supermodels
