  1. Give it a rest. They may have the record for wins but they aren't anywhere near the greatest NHL team in history

  2. Don't mean to put a damper on ur title, but they had an incredible season no one can deny them that. They have 4 shootout wins more then the wings, before shootouts were a thing. So in that context they be at 59 wins minus the 4 shootout wins, where no player is credited with a game winner. Bruins are the best team in the "Shootout era," no doubt, but the best team, naw. The 7 ties the Red Wings had never was a chance at extra point, when you see who played in that roster, they could been at 69 win

  3. Oiler’s have depth and talent and tenacity, so counting them out is foolish Toronto has pockets of greatness if the click on all cylinders, goaltending is the Achilles heel though unmarked has been solid for Boston between the pipes so he is a key this year, in my opinion.

  4. To beat Boston, a goalie will have to stand on his head but the Bruins have the 2 best goalies so there is that. Tampa, Carolina or Devils are the only teams that have a shot. No one in the West

  5. The absolute greatest Stanley Cup Final that needs to happen this year is Edmonton vs Boston there's no better matchup than that

  6. Bruins finally got rid of trash ass Tuukka Rask and now with the magic of good goaltending… History was made.

  7. Only 8 teams have won the President's Trophy and Stanley Cup in the same year. Playoffs are a whole new season. Just FYI.

  8. Huge credit to don Sweeney who has surely taken his fair share of criticism. Moving on from butch was not easy but it’s clear Monty was perfect for the job. The slow build of the roster has turned into an absolute power house of a roster top to bottom. Crazy to think the Mitch Miller issue was this season- feels like it’s been years since that happened. The trade deadline adds were perfect and don did everything he had to to give This team, specifically the vets, the best chance to win. It’s on the players and coaches to win the cup now.

  9. What team has the best chance of beating the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs? The Boston Bruins.

  10. Come on the Boston Bruins gonna win tomorrow night and it will be 64 win 4/11/23 🫵🫡🇺🇸🗽🏒🥅🏆👏🖖🫶🫡🫵🙌🐻❤️‍🔥🫶🏒👍👏👏👏🖖🫡🫵🇺🇸🗽🏒🥅

  11. No team should beat them 4 times out of 7 after watching them all season. If it happens it'll be because a goalie gets insanely hot, which we've seen in the past. Either way it's an incredible season.

  12. Ilya Sorokin and the Islanders are certainly capable of eliminating the Bruins. Sorokin could easily steal a couple games and in a short series, that could be it. I think there are 6 legitimate Finals contenders in the east this year, although Carolina and Tampa look like they're limping into the playoffs which isn't a great sign.

  13. This great season the Bruins are having won’t mean shit if they don’t win the whole thing.A lot of President Trophy winners get bounced in the first round.I don’t see it happening but you never know.

  14. I mean we had our AHL roster on defense yesterday and have had a lot of our 3rd and 4th lines with them also the last few weeks and still beating teams

  15. If the Bs are all they can be in the playoffs, this year's Stanley cup playoffs are going to be boring. Boston 4 straight, 4 straight, 4 straight done boo. Gary Betmans playoff bracket sucks. It would be great for the Boston team to finish strong and win the cup but yah it will be a slaughter house. And with a team like they have, it seems obvious that they worked around the salary cap. Go Boston yawn 😴🥱

  16. No one in the east but maybe rangers, the west is always a juggernaut in playoffs, so finals i see bruins vs either oilers wild, , or dallas and i cant pick a winner

  17. This is always very hard to guess .if you get a team of goons that can hit heard disrupt the best scores you will see. that'll be the out come for any team remember all this year they've been pretty well better in everything they can kill penalties and they can fight. they built a great character fighting team when needed .I would say they'll go all the way.

  18. 50+ year Bruin fan and I didn't see this coming. They were going to be better this season than 14th but record setting first is a surprise.

  19. Ok, I’m going to confess. I made LOTS of jokes to my family about Montgomery when hired but he has lead this team masterfully. I tip my hat to him and each Bruin as they have worked their ass off. I hope we get a parade!!!

  20. Everyone keeps saying edmonton can beat them. In the regular season they look very evenly matched. They haven't really found that next level of play when it matters though. They barely got past LA and beat up a calgary team known for choking in the playoffs. If they had pushed the avalanche to 7 or even lost in 6 I'd have more faith in them ending canadas cup drought.

  21. Has lots teams like this but what I've seen from them they primed for an upset wouldn't be surprised to see the go down in the first or second round prez trophy curse

  22. Being a stanch Bruins fan since getting beaten up in a french canadian town because I loved the Bruins I feel this is justice.
