@Hurricanes de la Caroline

    cannot wait for certain individuals on this sub to start crying that brind’amour is a « doomer »

    – the team is in a funk
    – the injuries have decimated us
    – it’s still possible we find another gear and turn it around
    – you can believe all of these things and still support the team

    this shit isn’t hard and it’s getting tiring seeing wars break out on this sub between the « everyone who isn’t chipper 100% of the time is a doomer » crowd and the « the front office doesn’t care about winning a cup » crowd

    Tonight was the first time I really sensed a feeling of defeat on the team. You could see it when they were skating off the ice at the end of the game. It doesn’t even look like frustration, they just look tired and uninspired. I really don’t know what it will take to turn this thing around in time for the playoffs, but time is running out and competition is only going to get tougher. Need a win tomorrow, and a convincing one.

    Rod is about to destroy the locker room

    Either we start a cool ass comeback arc tomorrow because of this or lose in the exact same way as we did the past two games lmao. Glad Rod is basically issuing a public challenge with their play lately

    Did he really say « with which we were playing »? I am impressed and inspired. Go Canes!!!

    I thought they played better tonight than the buffalo game

    Not saying we’re the ’21-’22 Avalanche by any means, but they lost 6 of 7 headed into last year’s playoffs. Just sayin…
