I really don’t see there being any realistic chance he’ll ever be more than a 7D replacement type at the NHL level, but with 2 games left and a shot to let Arizona and/or Montreal pass us, why the Hell not put him in. Glad to see him get a chance to play an NHL game
I would bet a decent amount that Ginning comes in and lays hits, clears the crease, and plays the role of bottom pair shutdown guy well enough that he leaps a couple of bigger name D prospects on the depth chart.
I have a feeling Torts is gonna love him. Ginning and Seeler bottom pair opening night 2023-24 season.
If they only called him up earlier they might’ve made the playoffs lol
