I hope the Leafs really work WITH Woll to be the next goalie star of this team, after Andersen, they have really lost their goalie identity as a team, as in they had a team with Potvin, they had a team with Cujo, and they had a team with Belfour. Those teams could deliver results in the heat of the battle, though I have a fan driven despair that this team cannot backup the current goalie situation in Toronto that should be frightening amongst fans and hockey pundits abroad.
Hate the Lightning with a passion. Maroon and Perry, two POS's that play dirty and cant handle when they get a taste of their own medicine. The Leafs sat out Mathews, Marner and Giordano and still won. These refs better not try that funny business they did last year in the playoffs.
Real leafs fans know this game meant almost nothing related to the playoffs but its just funny how the bolts literally played their game 1 line up, tried gooning things up and lost to a team missing half its regulars and a goalie who didnt even know till late in the day if he could play…oh and btw connor timmins played right wing lol

Woll startn to look like the real deal, still a small sample size but he’s definitely a top goalie prospect, good win without the big guns, tampa has got to be feeling a bit of pressure after not being able to win with a full roster against an ahl goalie and depleted nhl roster

Everybody talking about the leafs breaking a curse. Shoot I’m happy the curse of the lightning being in the finals will finally be broken. Just goes to show what happens when you can’t cheat the cap anymore. That and their goalie is trash, glad to finally see what he’s like with no defense backing him up….straight trash!

Brilliant play by play call. Better than Randorf by miles. Enthusiastic goal calls for both teams (as it should be – homers not allowed), and no overhyped yelling with goal calls. So many announcers sound like ten year olds

Enjoyed seeing Joseph Woll's performance against Tampa! He stood his ground the entire time & did what he had to for the victory! Very impressive closing the door ability on that 6 on 4 advantage near the end of the 3rd! Jake McCabe, new defenceman for the Leafs had some good blocked shots to help keep pucks away from Woll! Props to Nylander for a 3 point game!

The Leafs is not bad team, but their have a lot of fans are real assholes.
Every year they scream loudly before the playoffs, and then cry even louder after the 1st round.
If they want the Leafs to win the first round, they should shut up and watch hockey.
That was the right call. Perry was in contact with the defenseman, but he wasn't pushed into the crease, he went there under his own power. That prevented Woll from moving over to make the save, so no goal.
