Amazing work.
Last night felt like the rug being pulled out from underneath the team by the Hockey Gods. Just bad puck bounces and shots missed by mere inches all around. I mean, the Devils’ first goal was a skate ricochet.
But hey, meaningful hockey in Game 80 for the first time in over a decade and a young team that you can see get better in a lot of ways as the season progressed. And this kid here, he’s primed to follow in the footsteps of the Gods in the rafters.
October can’t come fast enough. LFG!
