Maybe? The Oilers are pretty unimpressive as far as contending teams go, but the rest of the West is more unimpressive below those two. Vegas has been pretty good but the Mark Stone situation can change a lot since if he returns it would put Vegas $7mil over the cap for the playoffs. Definitely think the Avs have it in the bag but miracles happen I guess

Last year Colorado never got Edmonton's best. Nurse was injured, Draisaitl was basically hobbled on one leg, and Kane got himself suspended in game 3. If and I mean if the Oilers meet Colorado in the conference final again and they some how remain healthy. I think the Oilers are going to dispatch Colorado, because of their offense which has no comparison (not even by Avalanche standards). Aaand this not the same Oilers team as last year, and any team sleeping on the Oilers are gonna be heading for the golf course in due course.
