In all seriousness I am so happy we got timo, been hoping for it for months. Hopefully everyone can see what the excitement was about, and can see what this dude brings to the roster and how much it will help in the playoffs.
Hoping he is acclimating well and is on board to sign long term and be in cup contention for his entire prime.

Haulaf a story.
On a serious note though, it’s great to see people want to play here and want other to come.

Trading for Timo was one of the first things I did in NHL 23 franchise mode back in like November. Glad it worked out

Funny that a month into the season, everyone and their dog knew Meier and devils made a lot of sense and then it happened. I often wonder how much influence social media chatter has on moves in the league. I know there is at least some influence.
I don’t like to dump on Zacha, I’m glad he’s found a spot where he can thrive. He didn’t seem to be happy here, and I really think moving him and Ty smith were additions by subtraction. We just also happened to get some good players in return. Zacha right now is at the level haula was at his peak. But I think bringing in guys like haula and palat helped this team mature in a big way. Last season, first person to look deflated after going down a goal was Zacha. He needed to be placed in a team with the best leadership group in the league and that’s Boston. They can mold him to what they need him for and that’s a responsible 6th or 7th best forward. Once he has to move up 3 spots in the depth chart, I’m interested to see how he responds.
