@Red Wings de Détroit

Ya, should be all over him. Just turned 25, from Farmington Hills, elite goal scorer. His qualifying offer is $9 million though and he’s going to want a huge contract.

    OTT gets: 2023 NYI 1st (if it’s in the high teens/low 20’s.) and our 2023 3rd.

Is it low? Ya, considering they just gave up the 7th, 39th and a 3rd for him but he’s got them by the balls. He’s going to sign the QO and walk as a UFA next summer.

Well… we do need a goal scorer

Depends how much they want for him. He had kinda down year for his standards.

This would be huge, no pun intended

Lombardi and Debricant makes me giddy

Worth a look. We need scoring.

I’m guessing they’d want at least a 1st, 3rd and a high prospect. Sadly, I don’t think it will happen.

I don’t know why, but this guy hates Mo. He is always (trying to be) up in my German machine’s face. Maybe if they were teammates, he wouldn’t? But if I were Yzerman, I’d want to understand what is up with that before moving ahead.

Yes yes yes yes please please please please

Depends on the asking price between the trade cost and his contract demand. I’d be wary of long term, high cap hit with Debrincat’s inconsistency.

Ottawa seemed like a good landing spot. I wonder what’s behind refusing to sign there, assuming it’s true.

Honestly with his new baby boy and then his family all being in the area this would be an enriching environment for him to be great. Pay the man what he wants.

  15. The price is going to be really high, not so sure about this. Besides, he’s a Blackhawk. Gross.

I’m imagining a team that has all 3 of Kyle Connor, Alex DeBrincat, and Connor Bedard. Fuck even 2 of those and we’re a playoff team.

  17. He’s not a draft pick so Yzerman will pass.

As long as Ken doesn’t call him The Cat

Can I be a dummy and ask what OA is?
