It was a great end to the season! Thanks gor all the Oilers new and I’m very excited for the playoff run ahead and all the coming vids from you and Tyson
A team that was out of a playoff spot at American thanks giving now has 50 wins. 15 game point streak, 9 game win streak. 82 games played, final record of 50-23-9. Leading point scorers: McDavid: 64-88-154 Draisaitl: 51-74-125 Nugent hopkins: 37-66-103
Interesting watching the SJ play by play people saying Skinner should win the Calder. Drai setting up Bouch to get the point he needed for a 214 k bonus. Another point and would have been 400 k. Another great year but without Stanley’s Cup means nothing.
The Oilers are not only powerplay merchants, but they are shorthanded merchants lol. I'll take it a goal is a goal a wins a win. Now, let's win that cup. Let's go, Oilers!
So last game of the regular season. Connor and Leon didn't play a lot, actually most forwards didn't play a lot. McLeod and Janmark played a fair bit (and Janmark got 2 goals for his efforts so yeah!). Derek Ryan and Zach Hyman both played their 500th career NHL game tonight which is kind of cool. So Vinny got boarded and went off down the tunnel to come back a little later. Penalty to the Sharks, Oilers scored on the PP (which is the best in the NHL, not just this season but since they started recording PP as a stat). Oilers PP is running at 32.4% (according to nhl.com AND sportsnet.ca) and they set a franchise record with 89 PP goals this season. Their goals for is 3.96 for first in the league currently. Honestly I could quote numbers and how many records they've broken but honestly I just want the playoffs and yeah, I want the Cup returning to Edmonton. Great job guys for getting us to the playoffs now lets finish this right.

Yay!
Vegas basically has a choice to either play LA or Winnipeg. Nice to be able to pick what team you want to meet in the playoffs 🤔

If Vegas loses in reg, Oilers win the conference. If Colorado wins they would tie in points but lose in reg wins.
Patrick you’ve done an awesome job this year, thank you very much!
McDavid gets the Rocket and Art Ross…probably the Hart and Ted Lindsey too.
