@Kraken de Seattle

💔RIP Andy.

Quelle terrible nouvelle 💔

    Terrible news and a devastating loss to family and friends. Andy was a huge part of the grassroots hockey scene before NHL expansion really got going.

    Seattle may have gotten a team eventually anyhow, but the level of enthusiasm awaiting the NHL was a direct result of Andy’s passionate reporting in the WHL and beyond. He was instrumental in the growth of hockey in the Pacific Northwest and all of our lives are better as a result of his dedication to the game and our community.

    This is just devastating news. There’s no getting around it. But Andy’s legacy will far outlive every single one of us. RIP Andy. ❤️

    RIP Andy.

    You expanded my focus on hockey way beyond the NHL. Thank you for your wonderful humor and for sharing your amazing knowledge and expertise on local juniors teams and players, and NHLers’ local roots!

    Extremely sad news. Andy’s impact was huge and he’ll be deeply missed by so many people.

    I hope the Thunderbirds and Kraken both go out and put on a show in the playoffs this year for him. Seems like it’s what he would have wanted.
