The last time we played Dallas in the playoffs I remember watching the wild lose in my dorm room and I stood up and yelled at top of my lungs “FUCK YOU DALLAS” and the dorm cops poked their head in and gave me a thumbs up

I don’t have high expectations, but it’d be nice to see this team step it up to another level for once and even if they lose at least go down swinging. They always seem to be flaccid in the playoffs.
I don’t like the matchup. The stars are a better version of the Wild. Bigger, as solid defense, solid goalie, better special teams, more talented top line, better center depth. I think we will have to claw our way to get to 6 games.
I had all these reasons for wanting the Avs, areas I think we could have had an edge, and a few ways I could see us winning (injuries, advantage in net, match D with Mack/Rant).
With Dallas, guys just have to step up. Simply have to outplay them.
Heiskanen is having a huge year. Benn and Marchment are going to be a pain in the ass. Elite top line. Young talent + veterans still producing.
5th best PP, need to stay out of the box. 3rd best PK and a goalie who can steal games.
However I was optimistic last year and we shat the bed. I don’t feel confident at all now, so logic says we are going to win.
