   Hope I’m wrong but this Bedard thing feels like a potential Patrick Ewing to the Knicks vibe. Preemptively calling BS if CHI, DET, MTL end up with him. Would be awful good luck and quite an occurrence if a legacy org that has generally sucked the last several years would end up so fortunate

   Shit, I’d love to have Fantilli on this team. Bedard looks like a generational player but, and this is dumb ass hell to say, doesn’t fit the mold of a typical STL Blues player. Fantilli does however. That said, if you have 1OA you get Bedard and you change your philosophy to meet his skill set. Or at least give him line mates who mesh well and then have your other lines be prototypical Blues hockey.

   So long as Fantilli hits his ceiling, which from what I’ve read is really fucking high, I wouldn’t mind Chicago getting Bedard. Would 100% reignite this rivalry.
