noticed you disabled comments on the sport interaction video so here i am. i love you guys, you have generous and positive attitudes about sports and life… but the gambling focus… it is annoying due to over saturation in sports ads, and is certainly harmful to some people. i think you all know its harmful, since you use much more heartfelt disclaimers before your ads than are legally required. please don't go "all in" on the gambling money. please please give me a reprieve from the gambling ads.

Team is just about cooked with Svech out and other guys (Jarvis (thanks Toronto) and Puljujarvi) underwhelming. Our offense is coming from Burns, Skjei, and Gostisbehere from the point and trust me, speaking from experience, point shots against a great goalie do not turn into goals very often.

I feel like once Columbus starts coming out of this rebuild and Jarmo starts making big moves again people will remember what his strength is. He makes questionable moves, went through a phase of not respecting grit and is an ass in contract negotiations but he can make some monster move. Even this year I expect him to atleast go very hard on 1 top 4LD and maybe a center. Possibly even a RHD aswell.
As for Larsen his system was a joke, he tried to run one that he didnt have the players for, he couldnt make any adjustments, he had questionable practice methods that the Finnish media basically laughed at and Gudbranson said something but had to backtrack, his useage of players was generally terrible a d he seemed way too much like he was trying to be a players coach. He was a good AHL coach but Bednar had atleast won an ECHL and AHL championship as a coach before that year. Now actually is the only coach to win all 3 with the Stanley Cup.

The NBA took off in popularity when the sport was cleaned up and fighting was banned. It used to be just like hockey with bench-clearing fight fights, and brutal fouls blocking development of the skill game.

In regards to what was different about Bednar, it was his first year and Roy had just quit just before training camp. I don't remember the exact timetable, but I want to say within 2 weeks of training camp. I think management took a mulligan, and it paid off.

As a CBJ fan I don’t understand the pass Jarmo gets from media and fan base at large. This is Jarmo’s 10th season in charge and he finished 31st out of 32nd and his best center is Boone Jenner. He should have been let go with Larsen.

I think people are down on Carolina because they're such an odd team compared to most in todays NHL.
There's not really any superstars or big "wow-factor" players on Carolina, their top scorer would be 5th on Toronto in points for an easy example. They just play a good solid game from top to bottom and that makes them incredibly incredibly easy to overlook since there aren't any real "this is how they'll beat you" points to bring up in conversation… However it also makes them terrifying when you stop to think about it since there's no real weaknesses to exploit.
I'm sick of the Toronto narrative of if they loose thats it for Dubas and the players.
But nobody is ready to blame Keefe, Even though they have issues with Holl being dressed every game and Kerfoot getting top line minutes in random games.

While I think the points counting back up for eliminated teams would be better than the current system, I'd rather see the draft cup. Teams 25-32 play off in best of series to determine draft order. All teams would have to play all 3 rounds to get seeding. Best of 5 or 7 for Bedard? Yes please.
