  1. i like Larkin well enough, but he has big shoes to fill. i'm begging for someone to tell him to stop diving and crying for calls from the refs and to use his speed to drive the net on breakaways/penalty shots/shootouts instead of trying some fancy highlight reel skill play.

  2. Is there ever going to be a point where Larkin ever thinks for 1 second he should probably move on from us or does he want to be Stevie Y 2.0?

  3. Hang in there Dylan and dont let the know Nothing Clowns on Social Media get to you! 😤😠You're a Good Captain and Leader!👍👏

  4. It’s so crazy 9 years already since Dilly came into league. Feels like it was just not long ago watching him get draft and him playing in his 1st NHL game. Fuckin years go by fast

  5. Larks seems a bit miserable/angry eh? A few smiles here and there, but a lot of what appears to be suppressed anger.

  6. You’ve got to feel for the captain a little bit when they ask him about physicality and he doesn’t have much of a response. It seems like a soft spot for him and the whole organization at the moment. Obviously he feels like they’re out there grinding and doing what they can defensively, but I’m not sure he understands how much the Detroit fan base wants to see our team filled with big hitters. We just don’t have that, and haven’t in many years. Especially when the question about him and Seider (the “star” players) having to protect themselves came up. He doesn’t want to throw everyone under the bus and say they wouldn’t protect him, but realistically he knows we don’t have that sort of presence. There really is a place for skilled enforcers and bigger players in general in todays game whether you like it or not. Seeing the wings in the mid 2010’s I think made us all sick of having a team of little “fast” guys who get pushed around and beaten up constantly. I think that’s why Moritz has grown on everyone so much. We’re sick of drafting these small “two way forwards” who can’t put the puck in the net. No more Helms or Glendenings please. We need some large physical players and goal scorers.

  7. Edvinsson, Johanson, Kasper, and maybe a couple of the other young guys like Wallander, Lombardi, Mazur could really change this teams look next season. It's a fun time to be a Wings fan.

  8. He's frustrated and definitely wants to get to winning hopefully Yzerman doesn't keep hitting the reset button and waste his career. As a michigan hockey player myself growing up playing for u of m and then the wings is every players dream and he is living it for us that couldn't I really hope he has success in the playoffs next year LGRW

  9. I'm betting they sign radko gudas this offseason. There is 2 holes on right d to fill, gudas fills the 3rd pairing role, adds a ton of snarl and physicality.
I'd like to see a physical forward brought in aswell.
I see a trade for debrincat to help boost offense.
