Before we drafted rielly, before we drafted Nylander, before Marner and before matthews, our first ray of hope after a dark time for the franchise was Luke Schenn.
Having Schenn back now, with his maturity, filling the hole that the team desperately needs filled, to get the chance the organization could never provide him, until now …. Gives me an emotional response.
This is a guy who is going to leave it all out on the ice, and I’m excited to watch him do it.
