I think the world's best hockey player is injured. There's no other explanation for McDavid's points production basically falling off a cliff in the last 5 or 6 games of the regular season and no points last night. Not to mention all the incredibly uncharacteristic fumbling we've seen McDavid do with the puck…also in the last 5 or 6 regular season games. And again in last night's game. McDavid could have easily stick handled his way around the Kings net minder once he got through the entire Kings line up (have to laugh at the hack LAKs on that one) . McDavid could have easily elevated the puck top shelf, but lost control….again. His shooting percentage has also fallen off a cliff and his passing percentage has shot up like a fat guy's blood pressure disco dancing to the entire Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever album. My guess is the injury is in his shoulder (rotator cuff) or lower back, hurting when he twists to the oldies like Chubby Checker. I hope I'm wrong and the best hockey player in the world will make the Kings look like a Pee Wee team tomorrow night. Go Connor…we love you bruh!!
