that’s probably a good reaction ..i just wouldn’t mind seeing someone a little ..angry?

  2. Svalbard38

I am perfectly fine with Nylander saying he’s relaxed. Willy Styles gets no criticism from me, that’s just the way he is and it works.

Not many other people should be relaxed. Hoping that’s not the vibe.

  3. theonewhoknocks515

Relaxed?! Lol. These multimillionaires should be ashamed not relaxed.

  4. Opsacyad

Well you took Dubas to the cleaners before you won a single round of playoffs, of course you’re grateful.

  5. 50TurdFerguson

Grateful? Relaxed? Fuck that! these overpaid, spoiled kids should be fuckin angry and embarrassed at how badly they sucked yesterday.

  6. DavidHasselhoof

Looking forward to seeing the same as it ever was performance tomorrow

  7. SchmoeSchmowen

Marner’s been trained to say things like that to ingratiate himself to fans. The only problem is that no one cares what you say in a media scrum after the game. We care about effort, stepping up in big moments, and playing with an edge.

  8. MrJeffA17

Mitch Marner and tone deaf, media friendly comments after a playoff stinker of a game. Name a more iconic duo

  9. SpicyP43905

I’m kind of glad that they’re “relaxed”, that’s better than panicking, but you’d also like more anger and fire out of them.

Calm, cool, and collected is what this team needs. Think about what happened to AFC Richmond when they took the pitch furious against West Ham. Level head and perform.

  11. promisedprince84

Y’all have such weak mental. These threads are outta control boomed

  12. Looseball

That’s absolutely fucking hilarious considering **NONE** of them looked relaxed for the first 10 minutes at *least* last night.

  13. Gradieus

This quote could be from 2017 for all I know.

  14. BackTo1975

Yeah. This is a great sign. 🙄

  15. irkybirky

I don’t like the word ‘relaxed’. I’d much rather here them say, they’re hyped! Or pumped, let’s bust a nut!. Relaxed sounds so…, relaxed!

  16. MutedHornet87

    They’re relaxed? Really?

    Keep cashing those big cheques

(This isn’t personal against Willy. He played decently.)

  17. jdubb14

Way to fucking relaxed….. nylander is one of very few that played half decent but fuck man they aren’t saying the right shit. The whole team looked “relaxed” last night. Fuck relaxed…..time to be pissed off and play with urgency an come out flying and for fuck sakes hit someone…finish a check.

  18. outofcontrol420

Blah blah blah playoffs started and the star players do not want to get their hands dirty. As per usual.

  19. Jumbofato

Relaxed?!? You guys got fucking embarrassed in your own house! With this effort you might as well be relaxed at the golf course.

  20. GrumpyBlondie

If you knew what you were capable of wouldn’t you be eager to show it and not embarrass yourself? I don’t know different strokes for different folks I guess

  21. DontToewsM3Bro

Grateful to be with this organization really ???

You should be dam embrassed how you played in game. When will this core learn the playoffs are different animal and you need to have a killer mentality and not be content with things are

This man got paid and not given a fuck since same with the rest of core

Game 2 they better kick Tampa in the teeth

  22. fuckychucky

Maybe one day Marner will do something in the playoffs. Leaf fans let this bitch have it too easy.

  23. winealign1

Just lock the press out for the rest of the series. The press don’t want to ask the same old questions, the players don’t want to answer them, and I think the fans are tired of hearing the pr trained pablum answers that result.

Just win a fucking round. That’s it. That’s the one.

  24. usernicktaken

    No more talk, action only!

  25. Flare_Knight

I’ll give Nylander a break. He gave a great quote before the series started and played pretty well in game 1.

Marner? No chance. There is no clean slate. They are down 0-1 in the series. That’s the slate. Leafs need to seriously show up in Game 2 or they are in a hole they might not get out of.

  26. Skates8515

“Same as always.” Exactly what I was afraid of.

  27. terminese

Same as always? Maybe the mood should be different, more serious, a little angry, enough with the passive bullshit.
