Even if it results in us getting more penalties I’m starting to think refs should be in a booth with access to quick replays to make calls. Half the time it’s easier to see calls if you take a few steps back instead of trying not to get in the way. They should only need to hop on the ice to break up fights/when things are getting a little too feisty.
