Also for the bunting suspension, cernak has had a concussion history including one this season. A second concussion probably knocks him out until game 3-5 of the second round if tampa makes it. Bunting essentially knocked him out for the series deliberately that’s why its 3 well deserved games
It's crazy how suddenly Leafs fans have shifted the focus for their success or lack of it to who's officiating that night for them. Tonight it's already been pointed out that the official was the same one that called the interference that disallowed the Tavares goal in game 7 last year. It's always about deflection and inventing excuses as to why they're the victim.

Suspensions should be longer when there is an injury in thr playoffs. How is a 1 or 2 game suspension fair when Cernak is out for maybe 3 to 5 games? To me suspensions in playoffs should be longer because the injury is more meaningful.
Also fun fact about Tampa under Cooper. 9 full series with 8 playoff appearances. They have either gotten swept in the first round, they go to game 7 of the conferenc finals, and if if they didn't lose in game 7 of the ecf it's because they made it to the finals.
