I never comment on these videos… but my god, what a brutal call. 1:55 you can clearly see the puck touch the blade. Terrible reffing overall this playoff season. Not just this series

1. It has to be rock solid to overturn a goal which it isnt 100%
2. It hits Ekholm and he challenges for the puck (no possession tho, true)
3. The goal happened 15 seconds or more after the touch after both teams played on
Whatever call they made it was going to be wrong for 1 team and good for the other. Personally I'm happy with the one made but I would understand no goal as well.

Going into the playoffs, I was rooting for Edmonton. However, that throwing stuff on the ice BS in Game 1 made me lose all my respect for them.
You know for a FACT that if this game was in EDM, there would've been piles of trash on the ice, and that's just inexcusable.
Kings are playing better hockey. Oilers need to quit crying and have some better discipline.

As a Kings fan, I am so happy for the win. But the puck touched his stick at 1:56 for sure. If you zoom in on the video, you can clearly see it. But I will take the win.
Oilers have been playing 2 teams this series. One is black and silver and the other is black and white. Hopefully we can just play the LA kings game 4 and not the Zebras.

Clearly high stick how anyone disputes this knows nothing of hockey or physics! The puck changed trajectory at his blade equalling puck touched stick ! Edm will pay for their disgusting fan’s behaviour!
So far, it has been a subpar officiating, but when given opportunity like PP, you have to capitalize on them so as to avoid controversy.

The fact that even some Kings fans think it was a high stick and some Oilers fans think it was not, shows the video replay does not suffice as conclusive evidence. Therefore, call on the ice stands. GOOD GOAL.

Pretty clear it was high stick after watching the 3:20 replay at 0.25x speed. You can see clearly the puck immediately dropping to the ice after he touched it when it was heading toward the glass before it.

Not just the possible high stick, the officiating across all series is hot garbage. EITHER CALL EVERYTHING AND BE SUPER STRICT & CONSISTENT OR CALL BASICALLY NOTHING AND LET THEM BRAWL LIKE IN OLD TIME HOCKEY
