Ce soir, le 3e match des Islanders de New York contre les Hurricanes de la Caroline a commencé lentement. Mais une fois que ça a commencé, nous avons vu les Islanders entrer dans l’histoire de la LNH! Ils ont marqué les 4 buts les plus rapides de l’histoire des séries éliminatoires de la LNH en 2:18 secondes. Nous n’avons évidemment jamais vu cela auparavant, mais c’est ce qui s’est passé lorsque Jean-Gabriel Pageau a frappé Martin Nečas par-dessus la bande dans le banc des Islanders, que je ne peux pas non plus dire avoir jamais vu auparavant. Necas se fait casser la lame de son bâton, comme c’est la routine lorsque cela se produit, puis continue de frapper les joueurs des Islanders sur le banc alors qu’ils sont encore sur leur banc ! C’était hilarant! Ce match a également vu une bonne ambiance avec la foule des Islanders montrant leur passion, un arrêt incroyable de Seth Jarvis. Canes fan here… same dilemma they’ve had since Brindamour took over, this team can’t win on the road in the playoffs, you combine that with the injuries they’ve suffered, even if they win this series, they are going to get destroyed by the Rangers.
Islanders have always been a dramatic playoff team. When they get in, they will have drama for a least one round. Upsets galore. And of course the greatest team ever assembled in the early 80s. Boom! Goes the dynamite.
Awesome team! This reminded me a bit of when Anaheim scored a bunch of goals to chase a deficit against Oilers and then win
