  1. Lyon gave up two bad goals. Panthers didn't respond. Game 4.. Game will be different. Boston not going win this in 5 games.

  2. Only 8 times in NHL History:

    1987 Edmonton Oilers

    1989 Calgary Flames

    1994 New York Rangers

    1999 Dallas Stars

    2001 Colorado Avalanche

    2002 Detroit Red Wings

    2008 Detroit Red Wings

    2013 Chicago Blackhawks

  3. As a Bruins fan I’ve seen difficulties in going all the way with two 37 year old centers. I still can’t see how they could last a whole season and 4 rounds of playoffs. I hope I’m wrong but I think you have to be young and talented down the middle.

  4. Goalie! Goldie! Goldie!
    The greatest equalizer in hockey.
Bruins are by far better but a Golie can change everything

  5. Bruins management got bertuzzi orlov Hathaway for a reason this team is disciplined and look very good

  6. Oh, and how many other teams have so much depth that they can play and win without their best players? Yeah, let's go there!

  7. “Fled to Europe for a couple of years”… it was quite literally one year. A singular season lol

  8. 2013 Blackhawks. Also Presidents trophy teams win the cup 28% of the time. Every other placing wins it like 6-10% of the times. The entire argument is blown way out of proportion.

  9. Chicago Blackhawks did it in 2013. It doesn't scare this loyal Bruins fan and It is possible! Patrice Bergeron didn't play these 4 games but has been encouraging and leading the team off the ice.

  10. Taylor Hall”s coming out party or rather I am still relevant party. Teams do not want this guy find the part of his game he has been missing for the last several years. Also what is up with Mackie? I know he is a physical player, but in this series he is painting and then destroying everyone on the Panthers team. It”s almost ascif he just found out players are allowed to hit one another. It”s been great to see. What can I say about Tkachuk? I loved his dad when he played, but taking a swing at Ullmark”s head is not cool.

  11. I'm still not convinced that Toronto's first-round curse is over yet. I think the B’s transferred over the Bambino’s curse from The Red Sox across the street at Fenway Park.

    I'm just playing with you.
Take it from someone who knows, you don't want that virus floating around your beautiful City or Providence, I wish I lived in Canada.
    Good luck.

  12. 11 of 36 presidents' trophy winners have gone to the finals.
Before the trophy was introduced, 36 of 58 of league winners went to finals.

  13. This is because the Bruins are DEEP. They picked up Tyler Bertuzzi because of Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno being out, and because of COURSE everyone knew Bertuzzi playing that 60 grit sandpaper kind of game would translate to the playoffs. This team can literally roll 4 lines, even with 2 super-stars out of the lineup. The presidents Jinx has been dead for a while, I think.

  14. The Stanley cup is one of the great playoff series because any team can win the cup. Statistically the the team with the best record has not always won the cup as only 8 have done it since the inception of the presidents trophy in 1985-1986 season. Montreal, Detroit, Boston Toronto, Edmonton and Chicago are the Only teams to have multiple cup victories after having the best regular season record. History will be made this playoffs if Boston and Toronto Meet.
