  1. Not work, my wife, kids.. nothing stresses me out more than watching my team play, and last night was probably as bad, but then as good as it's been. 32 years a fan and my kids thought I was finally losing my mind when I yelled as I was rolling off the couch, watching the seemingly impossible happen as Kerfoot tipped that shot in. 1 more win. Then it's game on.

  2. As a die hard leafs fan since birth, this scares me.. the momentum, the lead, THE ANXIETY. All leafs fans should stop and take a breath we have been here and had our hearts broken, the series isn’t over till it’s over

  3. Mariner is a bad example lol he was leading the league in playoff points so he must be showing up

  4. Gotta know the politics of hockey. Toronto will win this round and round two against Boston, but out in round 3. NHL lost a lot of money during the lockdown, three rounds of Leafs playoff hockey will rake in quite a bit of $$$

  5. At the end of the second period, I considered calling it a night and heading for bed. But in my 63 years I have never once turned off a Leafs playoff game early. So I stayed up. With about 10 minutes lft, I picked up the remote and aimed it at the TV and then said to myself, "I've seen the Leafs score 4 goals in less time," so I put it down. …. I have seen the Leafs collapse lots of times… but I can't remember the last time I saw them do it to another great team. I'm glad I hung with them and got to watch that. I picked the Leafs in 5 before the series started but I didn't think they'd have to do it by winning 4 in a row, but whatever. One of the colour commentators said, something like, "Going back to Toronto, the Leafs get three more cracks at them." No they do not. They need to end this Thursday night. They cannot go back to Tampa and they sure as hell cannot go to a game 7. The guys who showed up for the third and fourth periods on Monday night all need to show up on Thursday and they need to bring that killer instinct with them. They have their feet on Tampa's throat and they need to keep it their every second of Game 5.. Let's do this. Go Leafs.

  6. We're the only fan base that acts like we've won the stanely cup for going up 3-1 in a series. Everyone stfu. This is a marathon.

  7. It's SUCH a relief to finally have a goalie that doesn't immediately give up a pathetic weak goal from the top of the circle the minute the rest of the team starts a comeback!

  8. my cousin and I watched the game and we were so demoralized when the score was 4-1 then out of nowhere within 6 minutes they tied it and then won in OT…that's gotta be some kind of a record

  9. Damn I switched to another game when they were down 4-1, great comeback in a playoff, hope they win the series.

  10. The refs made this comeback possible… Once the Lightning were up by more than 2 goals the refs put the whistle away for any leafs offence..

  11. The spirit of the legendary Borje Salming is looking over them. If this was a game in the last 6-7 years, it would have ended 5-1 Tampa.

  12. i know the Canadiens suck this year but the 4-0 comeback win for the Canucks this year was like drugs

  13. If I was a Leafs fan and we were down 4-1 in a playoffs I turn to a different channel and then after the game they come back to win omg I would say boys I wished I never turned off the TV.

  14. I feel strong that Toronto is going to do it this year, if they don't do it this year, it may never happen. I think they are tired of being ridiculed, mocked, and being the comic relief of the playoffs. Tonight is going to be a bloodbath, Tampa is not going to go away very easily, you can best believe Vasy is going to be on his A-game tonight with the Lightning being backed into a corner like this. Unless Toronto totally chokes out, I don't see Tampa winning 3 in a row. I do see them possibly eeking out a win tonight and brining back the series to Amalie, they likely won't win the series, but they could at least deny Toronto the pleasure of breaking the curse on home ice. I am also concerned that Tampa is going into childish goon mode if they are on the loosing end tonight and they will try and injure some of Toronto's key guys like Mathews, O'Reilly, and Marner, they will have an attitude of "we aren't going any deeper in the playoffs this year and neither will you". One thing about Tampa is, you don't EVER count them out until the final buzzer at the end of the last game of the series. Toronto CANNOT under any circumstances get sloppy, take their foot off the gas, and get overly confident assume this one is in the bag because they are up 3-1, Boston did that last night and now they are only up 3-2 against a team who barely slid into the wild card slot. On a final note, I'm SO GLAD Keefe is benching Bunting tonight, they are on a roll without him and they cannot afford to have him mess anything up, even if he plays well he will certainly change the vibe. Close out this series and then bring him back out in the next.
