    I expect most of these series to go to game 7 in the eastern conference. Playoffs are just way to competitive for someone to just lay down at pull out the white flag.

    Uh oh. This was the game to put away the Panthers and they couldn't do it. Ullmark looked like Rask on a couple of goals, flopping around on the ice outside the net while the other team has the puck. That was problem number one. Number 2, "hey we have a golden opportunity to eliminate Florida and move on o the next round, so lets switch up all the lines and mess everybody up".

    At this point it's looking like the President's Trophy curse is alive and well. Highly unlikely Fla loses 3 in a row at home. That means a game 7. Game 7's are a coin flip. At that point the Bruins will be rattled having lost 2 elimination games in a row and Fla will be pumped full of confidence. I hope I'm wrong, but it's looking like Florida will advance.

    Bruins are in panic mode. They clearly were ecpecting to walk over Florida, but now it seems they are getting forced all the way to Game 7. Even if Bruins manage to win this series, they are going to get crushed in the second round.

    That guff on Ullmark’s part was just boneheaded. Gave me flashes of the 2014 playoff game between the Penguins and Blue Jackets when Fleury tried taking care of the puck behind the net despite 3 Columbus players closing in.

    I actually cannot believe Florida pulled out this win. As someone else mentioned, very reminiscent of the tor vs Tampa game 3. FLA players were CONSTANTLY bobbling the puck and had so many turnovers from poor puck handling.

    Let’s see if they can capitalize on that gift from Ullmark, maybe that rattled him a bit.

    Being a bruins fan is the most nauseating experience a sports fan can have.

    You’re always good, but never good enough. And more times than not, you get in your own way. Then every year, it happens all over again.

    At some point, you have to ask yourself why even bother?…

    I don't like that all the coverage is pro Boston. Not just because I am a panthers fan, just because all the people covering the games on ESPN have decided to be very very biased in thier coverage. If it's this series they almost only talk about the bruins, if it's the other sieres that was on tonight they only talk about the avs, or the canes/islanders game it's all canes talk nonstop. Why even do coverage of the game if you are only going to cover it from one side? The NHL needs to get the rights back from ESPN and figure something else out because this ain't cutting it for me. Even if my team loses I want to hear player interviews or even if my team loses the series I want to see the hand shake line, but you know "hockey is not a real sport" ESPN just cuts to another game already in progress. What if I was a Boston fan and they eliminated the panthers tonight? I would want to see more info and perspectives on the game but no just a few words a replay and straight to the avs/kraken game where they are talking about how the avs can win this sieres. Avs are my second favorite team but man you aren't broadcasting for the local tv station of your favorite team you are supposed to be covering a game without bias. Just because of the terrible job ESPN is doing I hope all the picks that not surprisingly all the ESPN analysts agreed upon lose in the first round and they don't have sh*t to talk about until the Stanley Cup because they did not do ANY research on the teams they think are going to lose.

    the fact that they have won 2 of 5, during the playoffs against Boston is pretty impressive. If they win another this Florida team I would say is a better group now than they wear last season, despite their president to wild card drop off.

    The Kraken & the Panthers were the two that I thought could upset in the first round. We shall see, whatever happens the top two seeds will have to earn it.

    I must say questioned Paul Maurices decision to go with Bobrovsky instead of Lyon but yeah was the right choice. Florida has made this a series and kudos for not giving up though can't see Boston losing three in a row something that hasn't happened all year. But entertaining none the less and more hockey especially in Florida is good for everyone except the Bruins.

    I really don’t understand Ullmark’s style of goaltending lately. It’s like he’s trying to do his worst Hasek impression flopping around like an idiot. The difference is Hasek stopped the puck whilst looking silly Ullmark.

    I still think Boston wins the series, but if they don’t, that Ullmark boo-boo will be played on a loop, like the Bergevin “throw the puck in the net” play in the Presidents Trophy winning and first round exiting 2000 Blues. There was plenty of time to recover after that gaffe, but that team didn’t.

    What a huge win by the Panthers, especially when it seemed inevitable that Boston would eventually break through in OT to take the series.

    Typical Bobrovsky, he can give up 4 goals on 22 shots or he can turn aside 50 and steal you a game. No bigger save than when he stoned Marchand as time expired in regulation.

    Glad this series made it to 6. Panthers are no pushover. And at the very least they maybe take a bit of starch out of Boston heading into round 2
